Summer is absolute hell for the glasses wearer. We at Vision Care Connect decided that consumers don't talk about this enough! Here’s the harsh reality: The world is not an easy place to live in sometimes. Because we see these tough things happening constantly, it’s often hard to focus on anything else. There is such a constant flow of news on social media and in every office lunchroom and playground that it can be challenging to sift through all the negativity and keep at least one eye on all the positive things that are all around us. So much of what goes on around us is beyond our control. Here at Vision Care Connect we are reminded everyday that life is short. If we enjoy every moment of every day, then we will be happy no matter what happens or what changes along the way. According to the Vision Council of America, about 64% of adults wear prescription eyeglasses. According to informal polls, 100% of them have lost at least one pair. Having (and losing) reading glasses can become a barrier to embracing those little moments that can mean so much.
